- Deep clean the lint filter and its housing
Pull the filter and clear the screen, then shine a flashlight down into the slot the filter sits in and vacuum out any packed lint. - Check the exhaust hose behind the dryer

- Reset and run a test cycle
After cleaning, unplug the dryer or switch off its breaker for several minutes, then restore power. The code usually clears on its own once the dryer completes a cycle without detecting a restriction.
- Look at duct length and bends
A duct that is too long or has too many elbows lowers airflow even when it is perfectly clean. Most LG models have a built in duct check test, and the button combination is listed in the owner's manual under the installation test.
